Days Until... Every Event
125 live countdown pages for fixed-date holidays and observances, grouped by the month they fall in. Each page computes the real number of days from today using the same date-core engine as every calculator on the site.
A “days until X” page looks like the simplest kind of content a date-math site can build, and for that reason it’s also the easiest to get quietly wrong: a countdown that was accurate the day it was written and never recalculated again is just a wrong number wearing a right-looking page. Every one of the 125 pages below avoids that failure mode by computing its day count live, on every visit, from today’s actual date rather than a number baked in at some earlier point and left to quietly go stale.
The events covered span a genuinely wide range on purpose: major cultural holidays most visitors already track (Christmas, Halloween, New Year’s), civic and national observances specific to one country (Juneteenth, Guy Fawkes Night, Cinco de Mayo), globally recognized awareness and appreciation days (World Mental Health Day, International Literacy Day), and a handful of lighter, internet-native observances (Star Wars Day, Pi Day) that people search for just as often as the more solemn dates. A few entries — Chinese New Year, Diwali, Ramadan’s start, Hanukkah — are marked as reference pages specifically because their exact dates depend on lunar or lunisolar calculations this site doesn’t claim to compute independently; those pages point to the general pattern and typical season rather than asserting a single precise date as settled fact.
Fixed-date events (a specific month and day every year, like October 31st for Halloween) are the most straightforward to keep accurate: the day count just needs an honest calendar calculation from today’s real date to that fixed date, correctly crossing a year boundary once the event has passed for the current year. Rule-based events (Thanksgiving’s fourth Thursday in November, or a specific weekday-of-month observance) need the added step of resolving which exact date that rule produces for the current year first — the same underlying logic used throughout the When Is holiday-by-year pages, applied here to a live countdown instead of a browsable year list.
The pages are grouped below by the month each event falls in, so scanning for “what’s coming up this month” across every tracked observance is a single scroll rather than a search. If the date you need isn’t a fixed recurring event at all — a personal deadline, an appointment, a custom target date of your own — the Countdown to Any Date tool handles that directly, computing the same kind of live, accurate day count for literally any date you enter rather than only the 125 pre-built ones listed here.
